Finding a garage you can actually trust is harder than finding a needle in a hay stack... but I think I've finally done it. Thomas and Jay were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Friendly, honest, professional and they genuinely take pride in what they do. They explained everything clearly without making me feel like I needed a degree in mechanical engineering just to understand what was wrong. The quality of the work was outstanding, the communication was spot on, and there were no hidden surprises, unless you count the pleasant surprise when the ice cream van turned up and Thomas bought everyone a ice cream cone except for Jay he got a bucket. If every garage was run like Brookswood Automotive, mechanics would probably have the same reputation as superheroes instead of horror stories. A massive thank you to Thomas and Jay for the fantastic service. I'll definitely be back (hopefully just for servicing and not because my car has decided to invent another warning light!). Highly recommend Brookswood Automotive to anyone looking for honest, high-quality workmanship.

Brookswood Automotive supported me with cost effective options, and despite an issue with the replacement part, they worked with me to find a resolution. Super friendly, honest and flexible. Fantastic work from Jay. He was the only mechanic willing to help when my rear differential shattered. He priced up quotes quickly exploring all options available for me. He even found me a replacement car to buy should I need to write mine off! Thankfully I didn’t and he carried out the work needed quickly and professionally. We have used many mechanics over the years that have conned or done shoddy work. We will 100% be using Jay from now on and highly recommend him. Thank you for getting me back on the road quickly! This was my first visit to this newly opened garage in Fareham as my vehicles fan was not functioning correctly. the reception staff were very friendly and i was given a detailed and precise quotation and was booked in that afternoon. My vehicle was repaired within the timeslot quoted, within the quoted price and now the fan is now working fine. Thankyou Brookwood Automotive for such great customer service, i would highly recommend this establishment if your vehicle has a fault and needs repairing.

Had a window regulator replaced on Jag XF. All sorted and paid less than what was originally quoted. I found the staff very professional with great customer service skills. They even removed two dodgy wheel nuts that I couldn’t remove at no extra cost. I would 100% recommend and will definitely use again (hopefully not too soon!) Thanks again guys 👌🏻

That includes brakes, steering and suspension, lights, tyres, the exhaust and emissions, seatbelts, wipers, the windscreen and the horn. It is a condition check on the day, not a service, so it does not cover engine, clutch or gearbox wear.
